Flue Heat Recovery
Flue heat recovery is a self-contained unit designed to extract latent heat from gas boiler flue gases utilising a stainless steel heat exchanger. According to the Energy Savings Trust, flue heat recovery can save up to 700kg of carbon emissions and can produce hot water energy savings up to 50% in winter.
Certain flue heat recovery units are SAP Appendix Q compliant and have helped developers achieve CSH L3 when combined with other technologies and certain standards of building fabric specifications.
